A huge earthquake in southeast Turkey near the Syrian border killed over 100 people and trapped many more.

(BBC) ⸻ In Syria, state media report many deaths in the regions of Aleppo, Hama and Latakia. There are fears the death toll could rise sharply as rescue teams search for survivors under huge piles of rubble.
